AUNDE invests in sustainability

At the AUNDE Group headquarters, we are taking committed action and investing in a heat recovery system with exhaust air purification from KMA. The heat recovery system was installed for our two stenter frames and primarily heats water for two upstream washing machines.

Through the new system, we sustainably reduce our CO2 emissions by approx. 500t per year and also significantly reduce overall emissions.In this way, we protect our environment and also optimise the company's operating costs. This is just one of our building blocks on the way to a CO2-neutral society.

What the project also shows: ecology and economy are not necessarily in conflict. The conditions for heat recovery are ideal, so that 100 per cent of the recovered energy can be directly reused within the process at the same place and at the same time. In this way, we save 2,345,000 kWh of energy annually, so that the system pays for itself within a very short time.
