AUNDE France: Launch of the construction work for the new plant

AUNDE, international leader in design, development and manufacture of creative and innovative textiles for the automotive and transport markets, perpetuates its presence in France by investing in the construction of a new factory in the Hauts-de-France, in Saint-Quentin.

On Wednesday July 26th, 2023, all AUNDE France employees gathered in the presence of Mr Christian PRAUSE, AUNDE Group CFO, Mr Christian MOIRET, Vice-Chairman of the Saint-Quentin Agglomération and Ms Corinne MINOT, Sous-Prefect of Saint-Quentin to celebrate the official opening of the construction site for the new AUNDE plant in France.

The project led by the AUNDE France management team, Ms Anne PAGEZY, Managing Director and Mr Pierre-Alexandre LAMBERT, Industrial Operations Director, is to build a new production unit of around 10,000 m2 on the 8-hectare site acquired in January 2023 at the Parc des Autoroutes in Saint-Quentin.

The new plant will feature facilities designed to help control energy costs and water consumption.

Above all, it will be a modern, pleasant and modular working environment for the teams, helping to preserve AUNDE's textile expertise in France and develop new skills to provide ever more innovative technical textile solutions to players in the automotive and railway markets.

Look out for the inauguration of the new plant in a year's time.
