AUNDE Achter & Ebels GmbH invests in TB Kawashima, subsidiary of Toyota Boshoku Corporation

AUNDE Achter & Ebels GmbH (headquarters: Germany, hereinafter referred to as “AUNDE”) invests in TB Kawashima Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Japan, hereinafter referred to as TB Kawashima), a consolidated subsidiary of Toyota Boshoku Corporation.

TB Kawashima was established in December 2009 and is developing and producing technical textiles for the automotive industry. Since 2020 AUNDE and TB Kawashima cooperate already in India in means by a joint venture.

The partners signed an agreement to further expand this relationship now, to adopt to the increasing requirements of the transformation within the automotive industry by combining their excellence in the Asian and European and US automotive markets.

The investment of AUNDE in TB Kawashima will lead to a shareholding of 80% by AUNDE and 20% by Toyota Boshoku, and is subject to approval by antitrust authorities in relevant countries.
