125 years of AUNDE Achter & Ebels GmbH - Honoured by the IHK

Peter Bolten, IHK Managing Director Jürgen Steinmetz and Christian Prause at the 125th anniversary celebration of AUNDE Achter und Ebels.

The anniversary year 2024 marks a significant turning point in Mönchengladbach. After 60 formative and successful years, long-standing Managing Director Rolf Königs is leaving the company. Under his leadership, AUNDE developed from a local textile company into a global group of companies with more than 24,000 employees.

Rolf Königs hands over the reins to his successors Peter Bolten, who represents the fourth generation of the family in the company management, and Christian Prause. Both are taking over a well-functioning Group that is ready to master the challenges of the future. With the expertise and experience gained over 125 years, the Mönchengladbach-based automotive supplier is looking positively to the years ahead.

Thanks to the management team that has been with the company for a long time, the long-term orientation of the family-owned company remains secure. This continuity and the commitment of the new management team will ensure that AUNDE remains successful and innovative in the future.
